WARNING: THE FOLLOWING STORY IS UNBEARABLY TRUE, THEREFORE IT REVEALS SOME OF THE MOST DEEPEST AND DARKEST SECRETS OF TWO YOUNG GIRLS. LAUGHTER IS ENCOURAGED, TEASING IS FROWNED UPON.
There once were two young girls who played a game called “The Cats”. They imagined a place where with a massive volcano in a mystical jungle and giant monsters on the prowl searching kidnap their loved ones. The only way to save them were two brave girls better known as The Cats. Tiger was the strongest. Cheetah was the fastest (and often times the leader because she’d shamelessly play on her own when Tiger went home).Through the techniques taught to them by the Power Rangers, they fought bad guys by climbing cannon’s, racing through the forest and saving their loved ones before anything bad would happen to them.
Sadly, like all good tales, The Cats grew up and were forced into the working world. Both living their own separate lives going in different directions. The vigilantes were forced to retire their secret imaginative lives in order to earn money and live in reality.
Years passed as the stories of their heroic efforts began to disappear. Until one brisk Fall afternoon, two young boys began to play… actually they were on an adventure. Struggling through a long journey, the two young boys prepared to fight mythical bad guys and destroy the villainous creatures that were planning to take over the world. It was then, the woman with them had a flashback to her younger days—the days she thought she had lost years ago. As the boys jumped into the depths of terror and climbed the rough barriers separating them from their enemies, it was then that she realized, Cheetah never died. She was just asleep.
Imagination never dies, we just have to choose to use it.
