Friday Favorites: September

It’s time for a Friday favorites roundup! Here are a few of the things we’ve been loving lately.

Joseph’s new EP, “Stay Awake.” It only took 20 seconds, and we knew it was love. Actually, not even just the EP, but Joseph in general is giving us life.

Walking home for two hours after work. Relaxing in the crisp fall air.

Snail mail from friends overseas.

PRIME Voices series. Tierney got to see the staged reading of Chasing Manet recently, and it was amazing. PRIME makes it their mission to support women in their “second act,” and, Minnesota readers, you’re in for a special treat because they have two more readings scheduled and we highly recommend you make it if you can.

Francis and the Lights’ awesome tune, “May I Have This Dance” featuring Chance the Rapper.

Feeling a little more uplifted with Chance the Rapper’s inspiring “Blessings.”

Chance the Rapper.

Farmers’ markets and aaaall the fresh produce. (A thing that’s not so favorite though: Googling ‘farmers market’ to find out for absolute certain where the apostrophe goes…)

Zucchini muffins made with aforesaid fresh produce. And dark chocolate.

Imperfect Birds by Anne Lamott. This book will make you laugh, cry, and marvel at the raw honesty of human love.

Catching up on Modern Family and binge-watching The Defenders on Netflix.

Watching AMAZING musicals this fall—did we mention it was fall?

Cooler weather, changing leaves, cozy sweaters, pumpkin everything, and FALL!

Note: It is officially autumn today. So happy autumn! Or fall. Whatever!
